Deutsches Eck

Up and down the Moselle River

Tages- und Halbtagesausflüge an Ober-, Mittel- und/oder Untermosel

The Moselle runs 245 km within Germany. She is navigable up to Metz in France and carves her way in famous 360° oxbows through steep schist mountains. This and the wine, grown on these slopes, have made her famous.

Like perls on a string, one wine village follows the other on roads you always dreamed of.

According to your time at disposal, we suggest the following stages:

  • Trier – Grevenmacher – Ehnen – Remich – Schengen (Upper Moselle)
  • Trier – Klausen – Panoramastraße – Piesport – Lieser – Bernkastel-Kues (Central Moselle)
  • Bernkastel-Kues – Traben-Trarbach – Tell – Beilstein – Cochem (Central Moselle)
  • Cochem – Karden – Alken – Koblenz (Lower Moselle)

These are tried and tested suggestions. I will help you in working out a tailor-made schedule, including for example hiking through the vineyards or assisting you choosing wine and champagne tastings at a wine producer or so-called ”broom tavern” etc.
